X250 Compost Extractor
FEATURES
Our Compost Extractors use an auger water jet system to efficiently dislodge beneficial microorganisms from compost. Compost is introduced into the hopper, where a variable-speed auger transports it through the machine. This adjustable mechanism allows precise control over the amount of compost entering the extraction chamber.
To prevent bridging and ensure a consistent flow of compost into the extraction chamber, the hopper features an adjustable water agitation system that breaks static friction along its edges, dislodging material and promoting smooth, uninterrupted flow.
As the compost moves through the extractor, water jets placed strategically along the auger rinse the material. A Booster Pump ensures sufficient water pressure is applied to extract microbial communities without damaging them. A cylindrical sieve encases the auger and water jet configuration, filtering microorganisms from solid material. The sieve is easily interchangeable, conveniently allowing for the use of different mesh screens to achieve various levels of filtration.
By adjusting the auger speed and sieve size, operators can fine-tune the concentration and sediment load of the extract. This level of control is crucial for maintaining the integrity and consistency of the final product.
